Symptom Explanation The operating system does not recognize the library or the tape drives. Conditions That Could Cause This Problem SCSI cables may be loose. SCSI terminators may be missing or loose. The SCSI terminator might not be at the end of the bus or there may be more than two terminators present. The SCSI bus may be too long. Too many devices may be on the bus. Your system may not be configured to recognize the electronics module or tape drive SCSI IDs. 1. Are the SCSI cables properly connected? Yes: Go to step 2. No:
Reseat the connectors.
