SETTING UP GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH Now that your printer is accembled, take a moment to become familiar YOUR PRINTER with its major parts. Looking at the printer from the front right side, you can see the parts of the printer shown in the figure below. Print head Print guide Front cover Paper select lever Paper guide Cut sheet stand Power switch Paper thickness lever Platen knob Platen Nur Control panel Interface connector Printer components (front and tight) The printer control panel has the buttons and indicators used to load and feed paper (see Chapter 3) and select print features (see Chapter 4).
