haw User's Manual PAPER HANDLING Table 3.1 Levers andButtons UsedforPaperHandling Leverfilufton Purpose Action LF/FF Form feed Line feed Forward micro feed Press and hold LF/FF to execute a form feed. Continuous forms are fed forward by one page. Single sheets are ejected. Press LF/FF within three seconds to feed paper forward by one line. Press LF/FF and ONLINE to feed paper forward by1/180 inch. TEAR OFF Advance forms for tear-off Reverse micro feed Press TEAR OFF to advance the forms perforation to the tear-off edge. Tear off the forms, then press any button to retract remaining the forms. Press TEAR OFF and ONLINE to feed paper backward by 1/180 inch. LOAD Paper select lever * Load/unload paper Save adjusted load point Select paper path Press LOAD to load paper or to retract continuous forms to the "park position." Press LOAD and ONLINE to perrnanently store the load position adjusted by micro feeding. Move the paper select lever forward for single sheets (cut sheet stand or feeder). Move the paper select lever backward for continuous forms. Paper thickness lever Adjust for paper thickness or number of copies Select the number corresponding to the number of copies (including the original). Vary the setting up or down (including A to D) to optimize printing. Select D when replacing ribbon or clearing a paper jam. * The following graphics are engraved on the cover.
