Working with media Loading roll media To feed roll media into the plotter 1 If the leading edge of the roll is uneven, you may find it easier to load if you trim it now, for example with scissors. However, once it is successfully loaded, you can use the plotter's built-in cutter to trim it, as explained in step 10 below. 2 Wind the media around the upper roller and hold it ready to load into the plotter. Hold the media by its edges, about 18 cm (7 in) from the top. However, once it is successfully loaded, you can
use the plotter’s built-in cutter to trim it, as explained in step 10 below.

Don’t
hold the media right at the top, as you would have to adjust your grip
as you push it into the plotter, and this would probably make you misalign it.
Don’t
