Software installation types for Windows You can choose from the following types of software installations: ● Basic Installation (Recommended). Installs the minimum set of drivers and software. This installation type is recommended for network installations. ● Full Installation. Installs the full set of drivers and software, including status, alerting, and troubleshooting tools. This installation type is recommended for direct-connect installations. ● Custom Installation. Use this option to select which drivers to install and whether to install the internal fonts.
