Safely Remove Hardware, To remove an SD Card

SD Cards Removal Ä CAUTION: To prevent loss of work or system lockup, stop the SD Card before removing it. To remove an SD Card: 1. Close all files and applications using the SD Card. 2. Stop the SD Card: a. Select the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area. (A dialog box displays a list of connected hardware.) b. Select the SD Card, and then select the Stop button. (The "Safe to Remove Hardware" message is displayed on your screen.) 3. Gently press in on the SD Card 1 to unlock it. 4. Slide the SD Card from the slot 2. Hardware and Software Guide 7-3
