Power Inserting or Removing a Primary Battery Pack Ä CAUTION: To prevent loss of work when removing a battery pack that is the sole power source, initiate hibernation or turn off the notebook before removing the battery pack. If you are not sure whether the notebook is off or in hibernation, turn the notebook on by pressing the power button to the left or right. Then shut down the notebook through the operating system. To insert a primary battery pack: 1. Turn the notebook upside down. 2. Slide the battery pack 1 into the battery bay until it is seated.
