Removing and Replacing Components Individual Component Remove/Replace Instructions HotSwap Power Supply Removal Up to three power supplies (0 through 2), located across the bottom front of the server, can be installed in the server without removing power. To remove a power supply from the server, perform the following step: 1. Remove the T-15 mounting screw located to the right of the handle near the top of the power supply. CAUTION Be careful when pulling the power supply out of the server. It is heavier than it appears. 2. Grasp the handle and pull the power supply out of the server. HotSwap Power Supply Removal
Up to three power supplies (0 through 2), located across the bottom front of the server, can be installed in the
server without removing power.
To remove a power supply from the server, perform the following step:
1. Remove the T-15 mounting screw located to the right of the handle near the top of the power supply.
CAUTION
Be careful when pulling the power supply out of the server. It is heavier than it appears.
2. Grasp the handle and pull the power supply out of the server.
