Operation Copying Video Clips to an External Storage Device The Clip-Copy screen can be used to copy video clips to an external USB hard disk, CD-RW, or flash drive. The copied video clips can be viewed on computers running Microsoft® Windows® XP or Vista. See USB Hard Disk Drive Preparation on page 133 for information on preparing the external drive for clip copy. Copying clips can be simply done by pressing , the CLIPCOPY button. Copying Clips 1. Press and hold for three seconds or longer during playback to mark the starting point of the clip to be copied. The icon displays in the bottom-left corner of the screen. 2. Press and hold again for three seconds or longer during playback to mark the ending point of the clip to be copied. The Clip-Copy screen appears.
