Default Setting (System Menu) EcoPrint EcoPrint conserves toner when printing. This is recommended for test copies where lighter printing is not a problem. Use the procedure below to specify the EcoPrint setting. 1 Press the System Menu key. 2 Press [Printer] and [Change] of EcoPrint. 3 Press [Off] or [On]. 4 Press [OK]. Toner SaveLevel(EcoPrint) Select the default Toner SaveLevel(EcoPrint). One of five levels [1] - [5] can be set. NOTE: Raising the level reduces toner consumption, but image quality falls. Use the procedure below to select the default Toner SaveLevel(EcoPrint). 1 Press the System Menu key. 2 Press [Printer] and [Change] of Toner SaveLevel(EcoPrint). 3 Select from [1] to [5] for the default Toner SaveLevel(EcoPrint). 9 4 Press [OK]. Override A4/Letter Select whether to treat A4 size and Letter, which are similar in size, as the same size when printing. The table below shows the available settings. Item On Off Description A4 and Letter are regarded as the same in size. The machine will use whichever size is in the paper source. A4 and Letter are not regarded as the same in size. Use the procedure below to specify the override A4/Letter setting. 1 Press the System Menu key. 2 Press [Printer] and [Change] of Override A4/Letter. 3 Press [Off] or [On]. 4 Press [OK]. 9-57
