5045-001 Transfer Drum Sheet See Assembly 28-8. 1. Remove the transfer drum and holder assembly. 2. Remove the two springs from the attraction roller holder. 3. Remove the two springs from the discharge roller holder. 4. Remove the two extension springs holding the one end of the transfer drum sheet to the transfer drum. 5. Rotate the drum while peeling the sheet off the drum surface. 6. Remove the two screws from the gripper springs and remove the springs and holders. 7. Remove the sheet from the drum. 8. Use alcohol to clean the surface where the two-sided tape was applied to the gripper assembly. 9. Use cotton gloves to handle the replacement transfer sheet. 10. When mounting the transfer sheet, make sure the holes in the sheet mount securely in the 3 designated projections of the gripper assembly. 11. Make sure the transfer sheet does not slack or float in the center or at the edges. 4-54
