Reference Manual for the ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS318v3 Click Show WAN Status to display the WAN connection status. Figure 7-2: WAN Connection Status screen This screen shows the following statistics:. Table 7-1. Connection Status fields Field Description Connection Time The length of time the firewall has been connected to your Internet service provider's network. Connection Method The method used to obtain an IP address from your Internet service provider. IP Address The WAN (Internet) IP address assigned to the firewall. Network Mask The WAN (Internet) subnet mask assigned to the firewall. Default Gateway The WAN (Internet) default gateway the firewall communicates with. Log action buttons are described in Table 7-2 Table 7-2. Button Renew Connection Status action buttons Description Click the Renew button to renew the DHCP lease. Maintenance 7-3 January 2005
