7 Installing and Replacing Components Other than Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Accelerated Data Path You must replace the hard-disk drive with a drive that has a capacity equal to or larger than the drive you are replacing. Back up your hard-disk drive files to a remote system on a regular basis. For backup and restore procedures, see the Getting Started Guide and Release Notes for the version of Nokia IPSO you are using, or the Nokia Horizon Manager User Guide and online help. To replace a hard-disk drive by using the hot-swap feature Note You must have disk mirroring implemented to use the hot swap feature. 1. Locate the hard-disk drive to remove. 2. Loosen the retaining screws on both sides of the hard-disk drive. Caution To avoid damage to the ejector and locking lever, loosen the retaining screw behind each ejector and locking lever before you remove the hard-disk drive. 3.
