Installing a PC Card 8. Being careful to push down only where the motherboard connectors are located, press the back end of the carrier card down into the connectors until it is fully seated. Secure the two rear carrier card screws 1000BaseT 1000BaseT 1000BaseT HARD DRIVE LINK APCCT CARD STATUS ACTIVITY HDD A HARD DRIVE STATUS ACTIVITY POWER HOT SWAP HOT SWAP LINK ACT POWER Take care that the HOTSWAP HDD B HOT SWAP EMI gasket CONSOLE doesn't AUX roll back durinAgUX2 SLOT 1 carrier card installation SLOT 3 LINK ACT IP1260 Arrows indicate LINK ACT SLOT 2 locations where the 1 2 3 4 SLOT 4 gasket might roll back RESET Reinstall the two bezel screws 00644b.1 9. Secure the back end of the carrier card with the two screws provided with the kit. 10. Secure the front end of the carrier card by replacing the two front bezel screws that you removed previously. 11. Slide the chassis tray assembly back into the appliance until it clicks into place. 12. Resecure the chassis tray assembly retaining screws. 13. Press the power switches, located on each power supply at the back of the appliance, to turn on the power to the appliance. Note Make sure that you turn on both power supplies. To install the PC card 1. Insert the PC card into the PC card slot until it snaps in place. 2. Press gently on the card until it is firmly seated in the slot.
