7 Installing and Replacing Components Other than Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Accelerated Data Path Installing a PC Card After you install a single-slot PCMCIA carrier card, which you can purchase from Nokia, the IP1200 Series appliance supports a PC card with 1-GB flash memory that Nokia offers with or without system software included. You can use the carrier card in slot 3, which is located on the front panel of the appliance, as shown in Figure 22. Nokia supports only PC cards purchased from Nokia or Nokia-approved resellers.
