Pausing a job that's printing 1. Open the InfoPrint Manager Operations GUI or the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI. 2. Find the job that you want to pause and select it. 3. Click either Job → Pause → Now or Job → Pause → After current copy. Note: If the Pause item does not appear in the Job menu, use Add/Remove Menu Items to add it. 4. Click OK. The job will stop printing, the icon will change to black, and the job will be listed in the job window of the main InfoPrint Manager GUI window. 5. To resume the printing of this job, click Job → Resume. Pausing a job that's printing When you use the use this procedure, InfoPrint Manager stops the job, checks to see if the paused job is indeed the job currently printing, and collects checkpoint information about the job if it is. The job shows on the GUI as Paused. Assuming that the operator does not take actions that invalidate the checkpoint information when the job is resumed, it should restart at the checkpoint boundary. If the checkpoint information is invalidated, the job restarts at page 1 unless the operator changes the page range before resuming the job. Changing the job attributes so that the job would have to be re-ripped before printed is an example of an action that would invalidate the checkpoint information. 1. Open the InfoPrint Manager Operations GUI or the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI. 2. Find the job that you want to pause and select it. 3. Click either Job → Pause → Now or Job → Pause → After current copy. Note: If the Pause item does not appear in the Job menu, use Add/Remove Menu Items to add it. 4. Click OK The job will stop printing, the icon will change to black, and the job will be listed in the job window of the main InfoPrint Manager GUI window. 5. To resume the printing of this job, click Job → Resume. Pausing and restarting an actual destination Use these procedures to pause and restart an actual destination. You might want to pause an actual destination when you are printing a long job, so that you can perform maintenance on the printer. Pausing an actual destination 1. Open the InfoPrint Manager Operations GUI or the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI. 2. In the GUI, find the actual destination you want to pause. 3. Use these procedures to pause and restart an actual destination. You might want to

pause an actual destination when you are printing a long job, so that you can

perform maintenance on the printer.

Pausing an actual destination

Open the InfoPrint Manager Operations GUI or the InfoPrint Manager

Administration GUI.

In the GUI, find the actual destination you want to pause.

Right-click on the actual destination, and select

Stop

or left-click on the actual

destination and then left-click on the
