The Camera : Advanced Techniques ENGLISH SCENE Modes - Preset Auto Exposure Modes ✤ Preset SCENE modes are provided to assist the user in taking pictures under various lighting conditions. ✤ The SCENE modes direct the camera to automatically adjust the aperture, shutter speed and white balance according to the lighting conditions and preset settings. The available SCENE modes are: NIGHT PORTRAIT CHILDREN LANDSCAPE CLOSE - UP SUNSET DAWN FIREWORKS BACKLIGHT BEACH&SNOW 1. Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to (CAMERA) mode. 2. Turn the Mode Dial to set to SCENE mode. The SCENE mode indicator appears on the LCD monitor. 3. Press the MENU button. The top menu including (SCENE) is displayed. 4. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select (SCENE), then press the DOWN button. The available options are displayed. 5. Select an option by pressing the DOWN or UP button, then press the OK or MENU button. The selected option is applied and corresponding indicator appears on the LCD monitor. SCENE SET SCENE NIGHT PORTRAIT CHILDREN LANDSCAPE CLOSE-UP Reference ✤ In the (NIGHT) SCENE mode, pressing the Navigation Wheel shows LT (Long Time) settings menu. You can adjust Shutter Speed and Aperture Value for still images using LEFT or RIGHT button. Shutter Speed Range: AUTO, 1/2,000 ~ 15S Aperture Range: AUTO, F2.8 ~ F11 (depending on zoom position) 117

The Camera : Advanced Techniques
Preset SCENE modes are provided to assist the user in taking pictures under various lighting conditions.
The SCENE modes direct the camera to automatically adjust the aperture, shutter speed and white balance according to the
lighting conditions and preset settings.
The available SCENE modes are:
1.
Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to
(CAMERA) mode.
2.
Turn the Mode Dial to set to SCENE mode.
The SCENE mode indicator appears on the LCD monitor.
3.
Press the MENU button.
The top menu including
(SCENE) is displayed.
4.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select
(SCENE), then press the DOWN button.
The available options are displayed.
5.
Select an option by pressing the DOWN or UP button, then press the OK or MENU button.
The selected option is applied and corresponding indicator appears on the LCD monitor.
In the (NIGHT) SCENE mode, pressing the Navigation Wheel shows LT(Long Time) settings menu. You can adjust Shutter
