The Camera : Functions ENGLISH Setting the Picture Quality ✤ Set the level of picture quality for the still images before you begin. The number of stored images varies depending on the memory card capacity, picture size and quality. 1. Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to (CAMERA) mode. 2. Press the MENU button. The top menu including (QUALITY) is displayed. 3. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select (QUALITY), then press the DOWN button. The available options are listed. - TIFF TIFF - SUPER FINE - FINE - NORMAL 4. Select an option by pressing the DOWN or UP button to highlight your choice. 5. Press the OK or MENU button to exit the menu screen. The selected option's indicator appears on the LCD monitor. Reference ✤ The actual number of pictures you can record varies depending on the picture quality and size settings. ✤ The TIFF format does not compress the image and therefore produce larger image size. ✤ When TIFF is selected, Continuous Shot and AEB modes are not selectable. 87
