ENGLISH The Camcorder : Playback PB DSE - Applying Digital Special Effects to Your Recording During Playback ✤ The PB DSE function works only in PLAY mode. ✤ The PB DSE function allows the user to apply digital effects to recorded video and still pictures. 1. Turn on your camcorder by setting the Power Switch to PLAY mode. 2. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button to start the playback. 3. Press the MENU button during the playback. The top menu including "A/V" is displayed. 4. Press the DOWN button to select "A/V", then press the OK button. The submenu including "PB DSE" is displayed. 5. Press the DOWN button to select "PB DSE", then press the OK button. The available options are listed: OFF, MOSAIC and MIRROR. 6. Select an option by pressing the DOWN or UP button, then press the OK button. The selected option is applied to your playback. 7. Press the MENU button to exit the menu screen. 8. To cancel applied PB DSE, set the PB DSE to OFF or press the (STOP) button. (AV IN/OUT: VP-D6050i/D6040i only) Reference ✤ You cannot apply PB DSE to pictures being input from an external video source (VP-D6050i/D6040i). ✤ Once you modify an image using the PB DSE function, it cannot be exported to a PC using the camcorder's DV (IEEE 1394) connection. 80

PB DSE - Applying Digital Special Effects to Your Recording During Playback
The PB DSE function works only in PLAY mode.
The PB DSE function allows the user to apply digital effects to recorded video and still pictures.
1.
Turn on your camcorder by setting the Power Switch to PLAY mode.
2.
Press the
(PLAY/STILL) button to start the playback.
3.
Press the MENU button during the playback.
The top menu including “A/V” is displayed.
4.
Press the DOWN button to select “A/V”, then press the OK button.
The submenu including “PB DSE” is displayed.
5.
Press the DOWN button to select “PB DSE”, then press the OK button.
The available options are listed: OFF, MOSAIC and MIRROR.
6.
Select an option by pressing the DOWN or UP button, then press the OK button.
The selected option is applied to your playback.
7.
Press the MENU button to exit the menu screen.
8.
To cancel applied PB DSE, set the PB DSE to OFF or press the
(STOP) button.
You cannot apply PB DSE to pictures being input from an external video source (VP-D6050i/D6040i).
Once you modify an image using the PB DSE function, it cannot be exported to a PC using the camcorder’s DV (IEEE 1394)
connection.
