ENGLISH The Camcorder : Functions Zooming In and Out with the Digital Zoom ✤ Your camcorder supports 10x optical and digital zooming that can produce 900x zooming in total. Zooming is a technique that lets you change the size of the subject captured in a scene. Moderate and slow operation of the zoom helps to create more professional looking recordings. Zooming In and Out ✤ You can zoom in and out using variable zoom speeds. ✤ Use these features for different shots. Please note that over-use of the Zoom feature can lead to unprofessional looking results and faster consumption of battery 1-1 power. 1-2 TELE 1. Move the zoom lever slowly for a gradual zoom; move it faster for a high-speed zoom. 2. The subject will appear closer when you pull WIDE the Zoom Lever toward the T (Tele) side. The subject appears farther away when you push the Zoom Lever toward the W (Wide) side. Reference ✤ You can record a subject at least 80cm away from the lens surface in the TELE position, or about 4cm away from the lens surface in the WIDE position. ✤ Frequent use of zooming may result in faster battery power consumption. ✤ Slow and smooth manipulation of Zoom lever is a very useful technique when recording.
