When [HDMI Auto] is set to [On] in the [Matrix/Color Profile] menu, a color space detected from the input signal is set and the setting value cannot be changed when the HDMI signal is input. Submenu [Gamma] Setting Select the gamma when [User CH01] to [User CH30] is selected in the [Color Profile] menu. [CRT BVM]: Gamma curve of the BVM-D or BVM-A series [2.2]: Gamma curve 2.2 [2.4]: Monitor gamma provided by ITU-R BT.1886 [2.6]: Gamma curve 2.6 [S-LOG2(SDR)]: Log gamma, which is available for the F65 or PMW-F55/F5 CineAlta 4K Camera, etc. [S-LOG3(SDR)]: Log gamma, which is available for the F65 or PMW-F55/F5 CineAlta 4K Camera, etc. Notes The gamma is preset to [2.4] that is provided by ITU-R BT.1886 at the factory. With this setting, dark portions may be seen darker than with conventional CRT or LCD monitors. If you wish to obtain the same gamma as that when using a conventional CRT or LCD monitor, set this item to [CRT BVM] or [2.2]. If blocked-up shadows are seen, adjust the brightness for optimum viewing of black portions. The [Gamma] setting is fixed at [2.6] when an XYZ format signal is input. The factory preset black luminance (luminance when no signal is input, or the 0IRE-level signal is input) of the [CRT BVM] setting in the Gamma menu is the same as the black luminance of common CRT monitors. Adjust the brightness (black level) according to the ambient light and the black level of the image to be reproduced. Adjust the contrast (white level) according to the ambient light. The protective function for the OLED panel activates and inserts the black level in one field according to the input signal or monitor settings. When the signal to display high brightness images on the larger part of the screen is input, blinking may occur due to the protection function. This is not a malfunction. There is no effect on the throughout. 42 Adjustment Using the Menus
