Recording Your Performance Changing the tempo or the Voice of a previously recorded MIDI Song MIDI For MIDI Songs, you can change the tempo and Voice after recording to change a feel or to set a more suitable tempo. To change the tempo: 1. Select the MIDI Song you wish to change. For instructions, refer to page 39. 2. Set the desired Tempo for applying to the current MIDI Song. Call up the Song display, then highlight the tempo using the [V]/[E] buttons, then set the value using the []buttons. 3. Press the [MENU] button repeatedly to call up the Song Menu display, then select the highlighted item in each display as illustrated below. Song Menu display Edit display Tempo Change display 3-1. Use the [V]/[E] buttons to select "Edit." 3-2. Press the [>] button to call up the next display. 3-3. Use the [V]/[E] buttons to select "Tempo Change." 3-4. Press the [>] button to call up the next display. 4. Apply the selected Tempo value to the current MIDI Song data. Press the [E] button to highlight "Execute," then press the [>] button to apply the new Tempo value to the current MIDI Song data. When this operation is completed, "Completed" is shown on the display, and the Tempo Change display will be restored after a while. 5.
