Appendix s Total Reset Procedure The following procedure can be used to reset ALL the RY20 parameters to their initial default settings. It will clear ALL the patterns, songs, and kits you have created. -1 +1 IMPORTANT Be sure to save any data you want to keep on a MIDI data storage device such as the Yamaha MDF2 MIDI Data Filer before you carry out the total reset procedure. 1 Turn the RY20 power OFF. 2 Press and hold both the [ +1 ] and [ -1 ] buttons. Turn the power back on. "FACTRY SET" will momentarily appear on the display and the Record and Play LEDs will flash. OTHERS HH SD BD PAD BANK The "YAMAHA RY20" prompt will appear, then the instrument will default to Pattern Play Mode. 120

[°–1°]
buttons. Turn the power back on.

FACTRY SET
” will momentarily appear on the display and the Record and
Play LEDs will flash.
The “
YAMAHA RY20
” prompt will appear, then the instrument will default
to Pattern Play Mode.
