SSL Configuration Clicking the SSL tab brings up the SSL CONFIGURATION page, which allows you to configure SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) parameters and generate SSL certificates for HTTPS. To configure SSL and enable HTTPS, follow the procedure below using this page. Configuring SSL and Enabling HTTPS 1. Configure CIPHER SUITE and CRYPTO KEY RSA with your chosen parameters. 2. Create a certificate request by entering the subject name and clicking on the CREATE button. 3. When the page reloads, the text box below the CREATE button will display a certificate request. Copy and paste these contents to a text file that says a.csr. 4. To generate an SSL certificate, the openssl application can be used. The sub-steps below can be executed in any Linux machine to generate SSL certificates. For other openssl implementations, refer to the openssl documentation to find the equivalent steps for them.
