364 Port Status 4 Networking Switch Modules Clicking the PORT STATUS tab brings up the RSTP PORT STATUS page, which displays RSTP port specific information. The parameters for this page are shown in the following table. Parameter Description Designated Root This parameter specifies the unique Bridge Identifier of the bridge that is recorded as the root for the segment to which the port is attached. Designated Cost This parameter specifies the path cost of the Designated Port of the segment connected to this port. Designated Bridge This parameter specifies the Bridge Identifier of the bridge, which this port considers to be the Designated Bridge for this port's segment. Designated Port This parameter specifies the Port Identifier of the port on the Designated Bridge for this port's segment.
