424 4 Networking Switch Modules Parameter Description Retransmission Interval This parameter indicates the number of seconds between the link-state advertisement retransmissions, for adjacencies belonging to the interface. Hello Interval This parameter indicates the length of time, in seconds, between the Hello packets that the router sends on the interface. Dead Interval This parameter specifies the number of seconds for which the router waits for hello packet from the neighbor before declaring this neighbor down. Poll Interval This parameter denotes the larger time interval, in seconds, between the Hello packets sent to an inactive non-broadcast multi- access neighbor. Demand Procedures This parameter indicates whether Demand OSPFv3 procedures must be performed on this interface. Metric Value This parameter specifies the metric assigned to this interface. Neighbour Probing This parameter enables or disables neighbor probing to determine whether the neighbor is active or inactive. Neighbour Probe Retransmit Limit This parameter indicates the number of consecutive LSA retransmissions before the neighbor is deemed inactive and the neighbor adjacency is brought down. Demand Probe Interval This parameter defines how often the neighbor is probed.
