12 2 Chassis Enclosure • This product is intended for installation only in a Restricted Access Location (dedicated equipment rooms, service closets and the like). This is because the AB7000 enclosure does not provide any physical security measures. • This product is not suitable for use with visual display work place devices according to §2 of the German Ordinance for Work with Visual Display Units. Warning! Please read the following important Warnings and Precautions! Rack Precautions The following are important precautions concerning rack setup: • The enclosure unit is heavy and requires at least two people to lift it. • Ensure that the leveling jacks on the bottom of the rack are fully extended to the floor with the full weight of the rack resting on them. • In single rack installation, stabilizers should be attached to the rack. • In multiple rack installations the racks frames should be grounded to the same earth ground as the electrical source for the power supplies by means of a grounding strap. Server Precautions The following are important precautions concerning server setup: • Review the electrical and general safety precautions in this front matter. • Determine the placement of each component in the rack before you install the rails. • Install the heaviest server components on the bottom of the rack first, and then work up. • Use a regulating uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to protect the server from power surges, voltage spikes and to keep your system operating in case of a power failure.
