If you are upgrading your system from two power supplies to three, you must remove

the power-supply filler block from the third slot prior to installing the third power sup-

ply (see Figure 7-6).

Follow these steps to replace a power supply:

1.

Remove the power supply (see Figure 7-7):

a.

Disengage the power supply handle from the latched position by pressing

down on the handle and releasing it.

b.

Rotate the handle outward and then pull up on the handle to slide the power

supply out of the chassis.
