Performance Option Multi Core Support Intel SpeedStep C-States Control Limit CPUID Value Intel® TurboBoost Hyper-Thread Control Description Allows you to enable or disable the Secure Boot Feature. The available options are: • Disabled • Enabled By default, the Disabled option is selected. Allows you to enable or disable Custom Mode Key Management. Expert Key Management is set to Enable Custom Mode. By default, this option is disabled. If the Enable Custom Mode option is enabled, the available options are: • PK • KEK • db • dbx Description This field specifies whether the processor has one or all cores enabled. The performance of some applications improve with the additional cores. Allows you to enable or disable multi-core support for the processor. The available options are: • All (Default) •1 •2 •3 By default, the All option is selected. NOTE: • The options displayed could be different depending on the installed processor. • The options depend on the number of cores supported by the installed processor (All, 1, 2, N-1 for N-Core Processors) Allows you to enable or disable the Intel SpeedStep feature. Intel SpeedStep is set to Enable Intel SpeedStep. Allows you to enable or disable the additional processor sleep states. By default, C-States Control is set to C states. This field limits the maximum value the processor Standard CPUID Function supports. Allows you to enable or disable Intel® TurboBoost mode of the processor. If the system supports Intel Xeon E3-1225 processor, then by default Intel® TurboBoost is enabled. Table 28.
