The CW rotation of the pump motor rotates the conveyance roller. The roller rotates pressing the tube to convey the waste ink from the cap unit to the waste ink pad. The CCW rotation of the pump motor moves the conveyance roller away from the pressing position. Head Nozzle Revision A † Head Cleaner The head cleaner wipes off ink, dirt or the like from the surface of the head nozzles. Pump Unit
The ink is absorbed from the head nozzles. The sucked waste ink is conveyed to the
waste ink pad through the tube.
The CW rotation of the pump motor rotates the conveyance roller. The roller rotates
pressing the tube to convey the waste ink from the cap unit to the waste ink pad.
The CCW rotation of the pump motor moves the conveyance roller away from the
pressing position.
