Assembling Attaching the power cord 1. Before you attach the power cord, make sure the power switch on the top of the printer is turned off. It is off when the O on the switch is pressed down, as shown below. WARNING: If the rated voltage of the printer and your outlet voltage do not match, contact your dealer for assistance. Do not plug in the power cable. 2. Insert the power cord into the socket at the back of the printer, as shown below. Then plug the other end of the power cord into a properly grounded outlet. 1-18 Setting Up
