Table 101 Switch Port Configuration controls Control PVID Tagging Port STP Default Port VLAN ID (1-4095) Flow Control Autonegotiation Speed Duplex mode Enable/Disable sending Link UP/Down Trap Port Name Multicast Threshold Multicast Threshold Rate (0-262143) Broadcast Threshold Broadcast Threshold Rate (0-262143) Destination Look Up Fail Threshold Destination Lookup Fail Threshold Rate (0262143) 802.1p Port Priority (0-7) Description Disables or enables VLAN tag persistence. When disabled, the VLAN tag is removed from packets whose VLAN tag matches the port PVID. The default value is enabled. Turns Spanning Tree On or Off for this port. Sets the default VLAN number which will be used to forward frames which are not VLAN tagged. The default number is 1. Note: VLAN 4095 is reserved for switch management. Sets the flow control. The choices include: • Receive flow control • Transmit flow control • Both receive and transmit flow control (default) • No flow control Enables or disables auto negotiation for the port. Sets the link speed. Not all options are valid on all ports. The choices include: • "Any," for automatic detection (default) • 10 Mbps • 100 Mbps • 1000 Mbps Sets the operating mode. Not all options are valid on all ports. The choices include: • "Any," for auto negotiation (default) • Full-duplex • Half-duplex Enables or disables the sending of SNMP link up and link down traps. The default setting is enabled. Sets a name for the port. The assigned port name appears next to the port number on some information and statistics screens. Enables or disables multicast threshold limit. Limits the number of multicast packets to the specified value. If disabled (dis), the port forwards all multicast packets. Configures the threshold rate for multicast packets, in packets per second. Enables or disables broadcast threshold limit. Limits the number of broadcast packets to the specified value. If disabled (dis), the port forwards all broadcast packets. Configures the threshold rate for broadcast packets, in packets per second. Enables or disables threshold limit for destination lookup failures. Limits the number of unknown unicast packets to the specified value. If disabled (dis), the port forwards all unknown unicast packets. Configures the threshold rate for destination lookup failures, in packets per second. Configures the port's 802.1p priority level.
