Stand bracket The stand bracket is located near the middle of the computer, below the fan. Remove the bracket to gain access to the drive cables and sidekey board cable assembly. The bracket is secured with four Torx screws. Figure 6-59 Stand bracket location To remove the stand bracket: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to Disassemble the Computer on page 26). 2. Remove the center access panel (see Hinge Cover Panel on page 27). 3.
