If the error log or serial console display error messages that indicate problems with the WWN unit (see Table 15), the WWN card might have failed. WWN units correspond to information specific to the WWN card and are displayed by the chassisshow command. Table 16: Messages That Might Indicate a WWN Card Failure Type of Message WWN unit fails its FRU (field replaceable unit) header access. WWN unit is being faulted. WWN unit is not present or is not accessible. Writing to the FRU history log (hilSetFruHistory) has failed.
