Operating the SAN Director 2/128 Table 8: Power Supply LED Patterns LED Location/ Purpose Power Color No light (LED is off) Steady green Predictive Failure No light (LED is off) Flashing orange Failure No light (LED is off) Steady orange Flashing orange Status Power supply is not receiving power and is not providing power to the SAN Director 2/128. Power supply is receiving power and is providing power to the SAN Director 2/128. Power supply is either healthy or is not receiving power. Power supply is about to fail due to a failing fan inside the power supply. Power supply is either healthy or is not receiving power. Either the SAN Director 2/128 has power but this power supply does not (AC switch may be off) or the power supply has failed. Power supply is unable to supply power. Recommended Action Ensure power supply is firmly seated, SAN Director 2/128 is receiving power, both power cables are connected, and AC power switches are on. No action required. Check the power LED. Replace power supply. Check the power LED. Verify that the correct AC power switch is on and power supply is seated. If orange light continues, replace power supply. Verify that the incoming power meets power requirements (refer to "Technical Specifications" on page 163). SAN Director 2/128 Installation Guide 89
