Power Identifying Battery Packs Your notebook supports up to two battery packs: ■ The primary battery pack is a 8-cell lithium-ion battery pack that can be used only in the battery bay. One primary battery pack is included with the notebook. ■ The travel battery pack is an optional battery pack that can be attached to the bottom of the notebook. If the notebook will be unused for two weeks or more, remove the battery pack and store it to prolong battery pack life. Refer to the "Storing a Battery Pack" section, later in this chapter. ✎ Only compatible AC adapters and battery packs should be used with the notebook.
