5 OTHER FUNCTIONS Tone squelch function FM mode The Tone squelch opens only when you receive a signal that includes a matching subaudible tone. LRefer to page 9-11 for Tone scan or Code scan. 1. Touch [TONE] on the FUNCTION screen. ••E ach touch changes between [TSQL], [DTCS] and [OFF]. 2. To change the Tone frequency or DTCS code, touch [TONE] for 1 second. ••Opens the TONE FREQUENCY screen. 3.
