SCANS 9 Setting the Scan Resume function DDSetting the scan pause timer You can set the delay time for when the scan resumes. zzRotate to set the pause time. LThe settable values are displayed while rotating the dial. ••1s ~ 30s: The scan pauses for the set pause time, then resumes. (Even while still receiving a signal.) ••HOLD: The scan pauses until the signal disappears, then resumes after the preset delay time has expired. DDSetting the resume delay timer You can set the delay time for when the scan resumes after the signal disappears. 1. Push . 2. Touch "RESUME TIME." 3. Rotate to set the delay time. ••0s ~ 5s: The scan resumes after the preset delay time. ••HOLD: The scan remains paused according to the Pause Timer, even if the signal disappears. • Rotate to resume the scan. • When PAUSE TIME is set to between 1 and 30 seconds, the scan resumes according to the PAUSE TIME setting. DDSetting the Scan Resume condition You can set the Scan Resume options for when a signal is received. 1. Hold down for 1 second. 2. Touch a resume option. ••[OFF]: When a signal is received, the scan is canceled. ••[ON]: When a signal is received, the scan pauses for the preset pause time, then resumes. (Set the pause time in PAUSE TIME and RESUME TIME.) Setting the priority interval Priority scan checks the priority channel according to the set interval. 1. Push . 2. Touch [PRIO INTVL]. A priority scan periodically checks a selected memory
channel* while receiving on a VFO frequency.
*Memory channel, Auto Memory Write channel, Scan Skip
Channel or Program Scan Edge Channel.

Open the SCAN screen.

(You can save up to 10 pairs of Group and Ch.)

5. Rotate
to change the setting.
