8 MEMORY OPERATION Selecting a memory channel zzRotate or to select the desired memory channel. LOnly the Memory channels that have contents are displayed. Memory mode Group number Channel number (Example: Memory channel 04) DDSelecting with 1. Push V/M to select the Memory mode. 2. R otate to select the desired memory channel. DDSelecting with 1. Writing a memory channel A single memory channel stores the frequency, receive mode and IF filter width besides the following items. • Tuning step • DUP direction • P.AMP ON/OFF • TSQL/DTCS setting • ATT setting • DIGITAL Squelch settings • Antenna setting • Memory name • IP+ ON/OFF • SKIP Setting • DUP mode • SELECT Setting 1. Set the frequency and receive mode and so on. 2. Push . 3. Touch to select the desired memory write option. Memory write options [Write to a New Channel]: •The contents such as frequency and operating mode are written to a blank channel in the selected group. [Write to the Selected Channel]: •The selected channel is overwritten. [Select the Channel and Write]: •The channel is written to the channel selected on the CH SELECT screen. Group Memory name (if entered) Number of remaining blank channels Channel number 4. Touch the numeric keys to enter the desired memory channel number. 5. Touch [ENT] to set the entered memory channel. 6. Push to close the VFO/MEMORY screen. Memory contents CH SELECT screen example Insert a new channel without overwriting the selected channel. [Write to a New Channel]:
•The contents such as frequency and operating mode are
written to a blank channel in the selected group.
[Write to the Selected Channel]:
•The selected channel is overwritten.
[Select the Channel and Write]:
•The channel is written to the channel selected on the CH
SELECT screen.
