OTHER FUNCTIONS 12 D Auto power OFF The transceiver can be set to automatically turn OFF after a specified period with a beep when no key operations are performed. 30 min., 1 hour, 2 hours and OFF (default) can be specified. The specified period is retained even when the transceiver is turned OFF by the auto power OFF function. To cancel the function, select "OF" in this set mode. D Squelch delay Selects squelch delay from short and long to prevent repeated opening and closing of the squelch during reception of the same signal. • S : Short squelch delay. (default) • L : Long squelch delay D Repeater lockout Selects lockout type from repeater, busy and OFF. • OF : No lockout is activated. (default) • RP : The repeater lockout is turned ON. • BU : The busy lockout is turned ON. Short squelch delay setting Long squelch delay setting D DTMF speed The rate at which DTMF memories send individual DTMF characters can be set to accommodate operating needs. • 1 : 100 msec. interval; 5.0 cps speed (default) 12 • 2 : 200 msec. interval; 2.5 cps speed • 3 : 300 msec. interval; 1.6 cps speed • 5 : 500 msec. interval; 1.0 cps speed Busy lock-out setting Repeater lock-out setting 64
