Closing the Front Subchassis and Rear Electronics Bay CAUTION Before you close the front subchassis or electronics bay, make sure no cables are pinched or otherwise obstructing the front subchassis and rear electronics bay. Excessive cable stress or chafing can cause cables to disconnect and connector pins to bend or break the cable insulation. To close the front subchassis and rear electronics bay: 1. To close the rear electronics bay: a. Grasp the inside edge of the electronics bay and swing the electronics bay into the main chassis. b. Connect all cables to the baseboard. 2. To close the front subchassis: a. Grasp the edge of the front subchassis. b. Depress and hold the spring clip (Figure 38, B) and swing the front subchassis all the way into the main chassis. Closing the Front Subchassis and Rear Electronics Bay
CAUTION
Before you close the front subchassis or electronics bay, make sure no cables
are pinched or otherwise obstructing the front subchassis and rear electronics
bay.
Excessive cable stress or chafing can cause cables to disconnect and
connector pins to bend or break the cable insulation.
To close the front subchassis and rear electronics bay:
1.
To close the rear electronics bay:
a.
Grasp the inside edge of the electronics bay and swing the electronics bay into the main
chassis.
b.
Connect all cables to the baseboard.
2.
To close the front subchassis:
a.
Grasp the edge of the front subchassis.
b.
Depress and hold the spring clip (Figure 38, B) and swing the front subchassis all the way
into the main chassis.
