The following sections describe how to replace the fan board. Removing the Fan Board To remove the fan board, follow these steps: 1. Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see "Removing the PCI Riser Assembly" on page 41. 2. Remove the processor air duct. For instructions, see "Removing the Processor Air Duct" on page 46. 3. Disconnect all fan cables from the fan board. 4. Disconnect the power cable from the fan board (see letter "A" in Figure 67). 5. The Intel

SR1600UR) includes a fan board. The following sections describe how to replace the fan
board.
Removing the Fan Board
To remove the fan board, follow these steps:
1.
Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see
“Removing the PCI Riser
Assembly” on page 41
.
2.
Remove the processor air duct. For instructions, see
“Removing the Processor Air
Duct” on page 46
.
3.
Disconnect all fan cables from the fan board.
4.
Disconnect the power cable from the fan board (see letter “A” in
Figure 67
).
5.
Remove the screw from the fan board (see letter “B” in
Figure 67
).
