12 VOICE MESSAGE/AUDIO FILE Renaming an Audio File The name of audio files saved via manual recording, full-time recording or timer recording can be changed. 1 Press F1 [RX PLAY] to display the audio recording file screen. 2 Press F2[ ]/ F3[ ] or turn the [MULTI/CH] control to select the audio file for which the name is to be changed. 3 Press F5 [NAME]. Deleting an Audio File Follow the steps below to delete audio files that are stored in the built-in memory or a USB flash drive. To use a USB flash drive, insert it into (USB-A) in advance and check to ensure that it is recognized by this transceiver. 1 Press F1 [RX PLAY] to display the audio file screen. 2 Press F2[ ]/ F3[ ] or turn the [MULTI/CH] control to select the audio file to delete. 3 Press F6 [DELETE]. A message to confirm deletion of the file is displayed. 4 Press F4 [OK] to delete the audio file. • Pressing F7 [CANCEL] returns the display to the audio file screen without deleting the audio file. . 4 Use the function keys, [MULTI/CH] control or USB keyboard to enter a name. Pressing the key each time switches the selection in the following sequence: ABC (upper case) → abc (lower case) → !"# (symbols) → ABC (upper case) 5 Press F6 [SAVE] to save the file name. • Pressing F7 [CANCEL] discards the information entered and exits the audio file name input mode. ● When removing the USB flash drive, make sure to execute "Safely Removing the USB Flash Drive" (11-6). 12-6

Renaming an Audio File
The name of audio files saved via manual recording, full-time
recording or timer recording can be changed.

Press F1 [RX PLAY] to display the audio recording
file screen.

Press F2[
]/ F3[
] or turn the [MULTI/CH]
control to select the audio file for which the name
is to be changed.

Press F5 [NAME].

Use the function keys, [MULTI/CH] control or USB
keyboard to enter a name.
