Listening to the Radio-Continued Presetting AM/FM Stations MEMORY PRESET F/S AV receiver To select a preset, use the PRESET [F]/[S] buttons, or the remote controller's CH [+/-] button. or Remote controller You can store a combination of up to 40 of your favorite AM/FM radio stations as presets. 1 Tune into the AM/FM station that you want to store as a preset. 2 Press the [MEMORY] button. The preset number flashes. or Remote controller You can also use the remote controller's number buttons to select a preset directly. 3 While the preset number is flashing (about 8 seconds), use the Deleting Presets PRESET [F]/[S] buttons to select a preset from 1 through 40. MEMORY, TUNING MODE 4 Press the [MEMORY] button again to store the station or channel. The station or channel is stored and the preset number stops flashing. Repeat this procedure for all of your favorite AM/FM radio stations. Note: 1 You can name your radio presets for easy identification (see page 94). Its name is displayed instead of the band and frequency. 2 Selecting Presets PRESET F/S Select the preset that you want to delete. See the previous section. While holding down the [MEMORY] button, press the [TUNING MODE] button. The preset is deleted and its number disappears from the display. 67

Tune into the AM/FM station that
you want to store as a preset.

Press the [MEMORY] button.
The preset number flashes.

While the preset number is flash-
ing (about 8 seconds), use the
PRESET [

] buttons to
select a preset from 1 through 40.

Press the [MEMORY] button
again to store the station or
channel.
The station or channel is stored and the
preset number stops flashing.
Repeat this procedure for all of your
favorite AM/FM radio stations.
