Changing the WAP Profiles You can set up 10 server profiles for the WAP browser. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu ( ) soft key to access Menu mode. 2. Select Settings. Highlight Connection Settings and press the Select soft key or the key. 3. Select the profile you want. The following options are available: • Profile Name: enter a name that you wish to assign to the HTTP proxy server. • Homepage URL: set the address of your startup homepage. When the default homepage displays, you can delete it using the key and enter your own choice. • Bearer: select the bearer to be used for each type of network address accessed: GPRS or DATA. The remaining options depend on the Bearer setting. When the bearer is set to GPRS: • Proxy Setting: enter the WAP gateway address required to connect to the Internet. • User Name: enter the User ID required to connect to the GPRS network. • Password: enter the password required to connect to the GPRS network. • APN: enter the access point name used for the address of the GPRS network gateway. • Proxy Status: allows you to activate and deactivate the proxy status. Changing the WAP Profiles
You can set up 10 server profiles for the WAP browser.
1.
In Idle mode, press the
Menu
