ASR Options, Tips for Adapting Digit Dial

Adaptation involves recording several digit sequences to teach the system your voice. The adaptation process takes about three minutes. Tips for Adapting Digit Dial ⅷ Adapt digits in a quiet place. ⅷ Make sure you wait for the beep before starting to speak. ⅷ Speak clearly, but say each digit sequence naturally. ⅷ If you make a mistake while recording a sequence of digits, or if there is an unexpected noise that spoils the recording, you can say or select "No" when the prompt asks, "Did the recording sound OK?" Ⅲ If the recording is not acceptable, the device will ask you to repeat the last phrase. 4. When you are finished with a full session, you will reach a screen that reads, "Adapting..." 5. Press OK (left softkey) to complete the process. Note It is recommended that you perform the complete adaptation of Digit Dial at least once to achieve the maximum benefit of this feature.
