[52] Various Functions Bluetooth Configuring the Bluetooth function This topic includes instructions for the following operations. Selecting the playback quality for Bluetooth streaming. Checking Bluetooth information. Selecting the playback quality for Bluetooth streaming You can select the combination of codecs and preferences for Bluetooth streaming. 1. On the playback screen, tap the menu items in the following order. - [Settings] - [Audio Device Connection Settings] ([Bluetooth]) - [Wireless Playback Quality]. 2. Tap the desired item. Note The setting for [Wireless Playback Quality] will take effect starting the next time you turn on the Bluetooth function. The [Wireless Playback Quality] setting may not be effective depending on the settings of the Bluetooth device. Checking Bluetooth information 1. On the playback screen, tap the menu items in the following order. - [Settings] - [Bluetooth Information] ([Bluetooth]). Information such as the Bluetooth version and profile will appear. [53] Various Functions Bluetooth Notes on the Bluetooth function To optimize Bluetooth communications, observe the following. Place the Walkman and the Bluetooth device as close together as possible. The Bluetooth standard supports distances of up to 10 meters (32.8 feet). Turn the built-in Bluetooth antenna (aerial) in the direction of the connected Bluetooth device. Do not block the antenna (aerial) with a metal object such as a bag or case.
