For information on networking-specific printing issues and printer management software, refer to the documentation on the Printer Management Software CD-ROM. Printing Options The printer offers a variety of options for submitting a file for printing, depending on your environment and preferences. These options are listed in the table below. Printing Options Method Option Description Print directly from an application. Direct-connected printing Through a network The port is set to LPT1: (or equivalent) For example: copy LPT1. The port is configured for a direct network connection (lpr) or to a network queue. Through the mail port monitor The port is set to the Xerox Mail Port Monitor and the printer has an email address. Print via a print file submission.
