Managing Printer Usage Note The printer automatically exits the Menu system after 60 seconds of inactivity (for example, no button has been pressed). Some commonly performed front panel procedures are described on the following pages: I Printing Printer Reports (page 45) I Printing Secure Print and Proof Print Jobs (page 46) I Deleting Secure Print and Proof Print Jobs (page 47) I Setting Network Addressing (page 48) Note Printing printer reports, setting network addressing and many other procedures are also easily performed using CentreWare DP or CentreWare Internet Services. Printing Printer Reports Examples of reports that can be printed include: I Configuration Sheet I Menu Map I Disk Directory (if the optional hard disk drive is installed) For a complete list of reports, refer to Front Panel Menus, Items and Values on page 52, Service on page 66 and Print on page 68. To print a report, follow these steps: 1 At the front panel, press Menu Up or Menu Down until you see: Menus Print Menu 2 Press Item Up or Item Down until you see the report you want to print (such as Config Sheet). 3 Press Enter to print the page. Note If the item has several choices, press Value Up or Value Down until the desired choice is shown, then press Enter. Advanced Features and Troubleshooting Manual 45
