Printing Policy (Page) Page Size Policies are used to specify the recovery policy when the requested page size cannot be matched with any available media. The options are: I Use printer default. Uses the Page Policy set on the printer as its default. The factory default is Off (see the System Menu description on page 55). When set to Off, a job does not print until the correct media size is loaded or the page size is overridden at the front panel or until it times out based on the policy timeout in the front panel (default is 300 seconds). I Generate error if paper not available. Generates an error message on the front panel. I Ignore size and use default paper tray. Ignores the paper size and uses the default paper tray. I Nearest available size, adjust page. Selects the nearest available paper size and adjust the page to fit. I Next larger available size, adjust page. Selects the next larger available paper size and adjust the page to fit. I Nearest available size, no page adjust. Selects the nearest paper size, but does not adjust the page to fit. I Next larger available size, no page adjust. Selects the next larger available paper, but does not adjust the page to fit. Print Mode The options are: I Draft This setting reduces the amount of toner used on a page. Using this feature will cause pages to be printed lighter. I Normal This setting sets the resolution to 600 x 600 dpi. I High Quality (the default mode) This setting sets the resolution to 600 x 1200 dpi. Print on Both Sides Same as "Automatic Image Correction." Process Grayscale Graphics This feature prints black and white images using cyan, magenta and yellow toner.
